Department of Education COVID 19 update 10 March
For any of our parents or students that may have concerns regarding COVID 19 please follow this link to the HSE information and advice. HSE Coronavirus
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s), The Teachers Union of Ireland (TUI) has notified KWETB that, following a ballot, all TUI members have been directed to take strike action on Tuesday 4th February 2020. On that day, pickets will be placed on workplaces where TUI members are employed. This school has a number of teachers who are members of the TUI. Following a detailed assessment of the implications of the strike action on the operation of the school, management in consultation with the Education and Training Board has reluctantly decided that it cannot guarantee the health and safety of students/learners on the premises on that day. Therefore, we are informing you not to send your child to school on Tuesday 4th February. Glenart College will be open to receive students on Wednesday 5th February. Yours faithfully, Ms Kearns, Principal
